Q. Is the second screen, channel 2, required?
No. It’s optional. It is nice to have, though. We’ve been play-testing FBM for years, and it’s one of our players’ favorite features.
Q. What versions of D&D does FBM support?
FBM was designed for Basic, Advanced, and Second Edition dungeons and dragons. We have ported some old school modules from each edition. Our own, original content feels mostly like 2e - we use Thac0, and our spells are drawn from the Second Edition Player’s Handbook. Still, we find that all three of those game versions fit very well with our game management console.
Q. Who are you people? Where are you?
We’re a small shop - very small - based in the West Coast and Midwest of the USA, and Canada.
Q. Can subscribers create their own adventures?
Sure! Plan an Adventure, upload a Game Map, and design the encounters. We’re even working on a system where user content - if it’s good stuff - can be rolled into the FBM world, so all our subscribers have access to user generated content. Our editors will make sure it fits well into our world, but our long term plan is to turn this world over to the community. We’re still working on details, so more on this later.
